NASSAU COUNTY

 

New York State Town Law § 65-a requires that written notice of any unsafe dangerous defects in sidewalks, roads, highways, bridges or culverts be actually given to the Town Clerk or Town Superintendent of Highways by personal service, registered or certified mail, specifying with particularity the specific nature and location of each defective dangerous condition before you can sue the town for any injuries sustained from that condition. Town Law § 65-a
